Type 2 diabetes: Curcumin found in turmeric has been proven to improve insulin and lower b |

Type 2 diabetes affects the insulin found in the body and this creates a dire effect on one’s health as everybody needs insulin to live and be healthy. Insulin allows the glucose in the blood to enter the cells and fuel the body. When a person has issues with this, as in the case of type 2 diabetics, the pancreas responds to this complication by releasing insulin but when it doesn’t work properly, blood sugar levels become worryingly high and dangerous complications could ensue.

Lung cancer symptoms: Discomfort in this side of your tummy is a sign

When a person lives with type 2 diabetes, their insulin does not do the job it intended to do and as such the pancreas begins to tire out.

A tired pancreas means the body makes less and less insulin and all of this causes higher blood sugar levels.

Having too much sugar in the blood for long periods of time can cause serious health problems. Hyperglycaemia can damage the vessels that supply blood to vital organs, which can increase the risk of heart disease, kidney damage and even stroke.

Eating more of this, however, will help with the rising blood sugar and reduce risk of serious health complications
